As you leave the plains behind, you will experience a gradual change in weather and landscape. Passing through Shimla, you continue towards Narkanda, which is known for its apple orchards and peaceful surroundings.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. If time permits, you can explore nearby areas or enjoy sunset views from Hatu Peak (optional).

After breakfast, begin your journey towards Sangla Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in Himachal Pradesh. The route follows the Sutlej River and offers dramatic views of cliffs, valleys, and hydro projects.

Reach Sangla and continue towards Rakcham, a charming village surrounded by mountains and river streams. Further ahead lies Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border.

Spend time exploring Chitkul village, walking along the Baspa River, and enjoying the untouched beauty of the region.

Return to Sangla/Rakcham for overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive towards Kalpa via Reckong Peo. This is a short but scenic journey.

Kalpa is famous for its breathtaking views of the Kinnaur Kailash range. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax.

Spend your evening enjoying panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and peaceful surroundings. Kalpa is known for its calm atmosphere, making it a perfect place to unwind.

Today you enter the Spiti region. After breakfast, drive towards Tabo.

Chandratal, also known as the “Moon Lake,” is one of the most beautiful high-altitude lakes in India. The crystal-clear water reflects the surrounding mountains.

Spend your time exploring the lake and enjoying nature. At night, stay in camps and experience stargazing under a clear sky.
